Welcome to Beckman's Visualization Laboratory
The Vis Lab is a core research facility at the Beckman Institute for Advanced Science and Technology on the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign campus.
It's open to all faculty, students and staff on the Illinois campus, as well as approved users from other universities and industry.

Vis Lab resources support a variety of projects for research including:
- 2D/3D/4D image analysis and quantification
- Scientific visualization
- Ultra high-speed video
- Macro photography/video
- Photogrammetry
- Video production
- 3D animation
- High-resolution 2D scanning
- Research presentation
- Publication graphics
- and additional capabilities in support of imaging
The Vis Lab Offers these through a variety of state-of-the-art hardware and software options. Consult the equipment page for detailed information.

Vis Lab is located in room 2203 on the second floor of the Beckman Institute. The lab is located on Beckman's south side, just around the corner from the elevator bridge across the atrium.
