Autofluorescence of Spider Eyes

This composite of four sequential images of the eyes and cephalothorax of a woodlouse spider, Dysdera crocata, demonstrates the diverse range of sample reflection and auto-fluorescent emission. The composite image was collected using a Zeiss LSM 510 Meta NLO confocal microscope.
