Laser scanning confocal images of anuran kidney cells. Nucleic acids were stained with DAPI (Blue) and cell membranes are labeled with FM 1-43. These images are part of a growing body of data obtained through confocal microscopy which explores the apical membrane turnover mechanism in the context of ion transport channels and hormonal stimulation.
