Hippocampal cells grown in culture for 19 days invitro. Nuclei are labeled with Hoescht 33342; the neurofilaments and glia are immunolabeled with FITC and TRITC respectively. This work is being conducted in the context of bio-engineering research involving growth of cultured neural networks on patterned growth substrates.
